On Friday, 26th June 2026, learners from Grades 4 to 7 at LUTA School had the privilege of visiting Finsbury Reinsurance, where they were warmly received and guided through an enriching educational experience.
A key highlight of the tour was the learners’ meeting with the Managing Director, Dr. Webster Twaambo, who shared three timeless keys to success: hard work, never giving up, and self‑discipline. Dr. Twaambo encouraged the learners that with these values, they can achieve their dreams and make meaningful contributions to society.
The learners were then taken on a guided tour of the Finsbury offices, where the qualifications and roles of each employee were shared with them. This gave the learners a practical glimpse into possible career paths and helped them understand the diverse opportunities available in the insurance industry.
The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Miles Mukonka, a Grade 5 learner, who expressed gratitude on behalf of all the learners. His words reflected the excitement and inspiration gained from the visit.
This tour not only broadened the learners’ understanding of the insurance industry but also gave them confidence to dream bigger and pursue professional excellence.
